APPOINTMENT

Although walk-ins are welcome upon availability,  we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment, as clients that have standing appointments will be seen prior to those that do not.  Please let us know if you are pregnant or have any health conditions (e.g. allergies or injuries) when making an appointment.  If you are sick, please call to reschedule your appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Appointments can be cancelled 24 hours in advance by calling salon so that we can fit in another client. We understand that sometimes emergencies happen, and it's not always possible to give adequate notice when you can't make an appointment. However, be aware that if you repeatedly cancel appointments without proper notice, we reserve the right to ask for a non-refundable deposit to secure your next appointment. Or you can always walk in.

Tardiness

Scheduled appointments have a 15 minute grace period to allow for traffic delay or parking difficulties. If you anticipate that you will be later than 15 minutes, please call ahead to see if we have the availability to complete your service in full. One late client can throw off our entire schedule and cause other clients to be late for their commitments. Therefore, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse partial or complete services.

Refunds

If you are not happy with your nails, please make us aware of it before you pay. We will adjust them to your satisfaction or remove any enhancements or coatings that have been applied. Absolutely no cash refunds will be given after you have left the salon.

Guarantee

Enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 7 business days after your appointment; excluding breakages. If you lose an enhancement or notice chips or lifting in the first seven days, please call us right away  to schedule a free repair. Repairs after 7 days or for breakages, tears, and corner breaks are charged. Regular polish services are not guaranteed.

PAYMENT

We reserve the right to change prices and services at anytime without notification. We accept CASH, Visa, Master and Discover credit cards. We don't accept personal checks. Tips cannot be added to your credit card.

GIFT CARDS

Hot Tips Nail & Beauty Lounge gift cards can be purchased in store.  Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. The value of a Gift Certificate will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, altered or used without your permission. Gift Certificates must be presented at time of service. 

CELL PHONE

Out of consideration for other clients and a total relaxation, please mute all pagers/cell phones, keep all phone calls to a minimum, and use a moderate tone if you need to take a call. Hands free devices are strongly encouraged so that you don't contaminate your nails with dirt and oils from your hair and face during a service.

CHILD SAFETY

We love children. However, For safety reasons and insurance purposes, please refrain from bringing unattended children into the lounge. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

PET

Pets are adorable, but for their safety, please leave them at home when you come in.

SERVICE REFUSAL

Accordingly to NJ State Board of Cosmetology, we reserve the right to refuse service to:

• Anyone in ill health or with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious.
• Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area.
• Anyone that is rude, mean, or disrespectful.
